A 17-year-old being tried as an adult in the shooting of an ice agent received a hefty bond today. Marquez Alvarado has been formally charged with attempted murder.  He, along with his father and brother, are accused of shooting an ice agent in October. Alvarado was initially given a 150 thousand dollar bond, which was reduced to 50 thousand dollars since his family faces financial hardships. But that changed today. His bond has been set at 400 thousand dollars. Alvarado allegedly shot agent Kelton Harrison as he conducted a surveillance operation in Hargill back in July 2012. Marquez’s father and brother are currently in jail linked to the same case.
