Two schools in mission were on lock down earlier today after officers were on a chase for robbery suspects. It happened at around 1:30 pm near Miller and 11th street. The gunman is accused of robbing the Luau restaurant at gunpoint. A police chase ensued. As a result, Mission High School and Junior High were placed on lockdown. Authorities were able to apprehend the suspect shortly after. The schools re-opened and resumed as normal. The alleged gunman is expected to be arraigned tomorrow.
