John Kerry Confirmed As Secretary Of State

It’s now incoming secretary of state John Kerry.  the U.S. senate confirms one of its own for the top cabinet post. Support for Kerry was almost unanimous. Three republicans, including Texas senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, along with Jim Inhofe voting no. Kerry’s represented Massachusetts in the senate since 1985… he lost his bid for the white house in two thousand four when he challenged president George W. Bush.
