Neighbors Worry About Safety After Homicide
This article was published 3 months 21 days ago which may make its actuality or accuracy no longer valid. Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding.37 year old Jesus Leal was shot and killed in his south Donna on Sunday night.
Sheriff Lupe Trevino says 3 to 4 armed men stormed into the house and ordered him to lay down on the ground. The men did not demand drugs or money, which leads authorities to believe this was a planned hit. Trevino says Leal’s son shot at the intruders using a 22 caliber rifle, but it’s unknown whether he actually shot the men, but a trail of blood which started at the door of the house was visible when fox 2 news cameras were at the crime scene. Neighbors say they hear the shots last night and would like to have more deputies patrol the area. Police are now looking for the getaway vehicle, a 2002 or 2003 green suburban which had a distinct black brush guard front bumper.
