Police Searching For Church Robbery Suspect

Weslaco police are searching for a wanted fugitive that at one point gave investigators tips to the crime.

Authorities say 22-year-old Joshua William Montenegro stole music equipment and instruments from the First Baptist church on January 13th.

When brought in for questioning, Montenegro gave information that led investigators to the stolen property.

He is now at large.
