Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis announced she is stepping down.
Solis announcing today that she will be stepping down from her position in an email to the Department of Labor saying she wants to begin a new future, and return to the people and places that inspire her.
The secretary also commending the president for his bold efforts to get Americans back to work, but she says there is still much to do, even though she believes the country is on the road to recovery.
