“Infinite Love” Helping the Homeless in the Rio Grande Valley
This article was published 4 months 15 days ago which may make its actuality or accuracy no longer valid. Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding. The recent temperature drop in the Rio Grande Valley has affected those without a consistent place to stay the most. The homeless population braves the cold during the day and tries to find relief at night.
Luckily, the Salvation Army in McAllen opens its doors to those who seek shelter from these cold temperatures and although it tries to accommodate everyone, space is limited.
The salvation army can only house up to 500 people a night but another organization in the Rio Grande Valley trying to positively impact the community is infinite love.
The volunteers at infinite love serve up hot meals, clothes and blankets to anyone who visits them at the McAllen Municipal Park, twice a week.
