Increased Security At Cameron County Parks

The commissioners court last month voted to bring back the park ranger department, following a nearly 4-year hiatus. The item was put back on the table because of issues regarding safety and littering.
But not all agree with the measure, county judge Carlos Cascos says bringing back the old department was a hasty decision.
Cascos added that the reactivation of the department does not allow the newly elected constable to do his job.
