The outcry was made by the victim.
She told police she had been intimate with an older man who had just been released from prison.
Hector del Angel Moreno, 21 years old, now faces aggravated sexual assault of a child and a $250,000 bond.
The sex was consensual, according to investigators, but since the girl was underage a crime was committed.
