Charitable Officer gives Driver $100 During Citation
This article was published 5 months 12 days ago which may make its actuality or accuracy no longer valid. Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding.something him and his family won’t ever forget.
Hayden Carlo was recently pulled over for an expired registration sticker. Carlo explained to the officer that he could either feed his children or pay the registration.
The officer wrote a citation and handed it to the 25-year-old, but when Carlo opened up the citation he found a $100 bill.
Although the officer never told anyone, Carlo’s grandfather wrote a letter to the department.
The officer does not want to be identified, but his coworkers plan to honor him anyway. With the money, Carlo was able to update not only the registration on his car, but his wife’s as well.

With so much hate and violence saturating our media, it’s a wonderful thing to hear of a good deed that probably gets repeated much more often than we ever know. God bless this generous officer and his family!
WOW!! Great job. Glad that this got out. =D
$100 less the cost of the citation…doubtful that left enough to pay the registration.
For the record, since John Parry Jones III below just made a fool of himself, the citation in Texas for an expired registration or inspection is $10 so long as the person gets their registration/inspection within 30 days. The $54-$56 dollar registration(s) (two were mentioned in the story) plus the citation reduced a $112 bill down to $22 (assuming the officer filed the citation at all). I would take a $90 gift anyday and…
WHY DO WE NOT HEAR MORE ABOUT THESE TYPES OF OFFICER IN THE MEDIA!!! HEROES PEOPLE!!! POLICE OFFICERS ARE HEROES!!! (not perfect) but heroes nonetheless who DO care!!!
This is called compassion. The gift of GOD.

I live in Williamson County Texas, I see the cops pulling over the working man (18 wheeler drivers) everyday at I-35 and Parmer. Yesterday the cops had a wrecker following them and pulled over two trucks headed back to Mexico. That was a first, guess they needed to make up year end revenue.
Williamson county where the innocent get probation and the guilty get prison.

Some people attack the Police for the necessary and difficult job that they do, but most Officers are charitable and caring. This was an exceptionally generous gesture, especially considering that their rates of pay are generally poor. Happy Christmas to all Police Officers, stay safe, and take care out there !

I had a Texas police officer give me $20 for diapers when we missed our flight late at night with our 4 month old son at an airport because of delays at our point of origin. There are still some good people out there, there is hope.
