Update on the Hit-and-Run in Weslaco

Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding.An update on a hit-and-run involving a cyclist that happened in Weslaco earlier this week. DPS Troopers say they found the suspect’s vehicle.
Authorities say after receiving a tip, they located this Ford F-150 pickup truck at the 5700 block of Nardo Street, near 10th Street and Monte Cristo Road in Edinburg.
We’re told the owner of the vehicle is also being questioned, but as of now, has not been charged with any crime.
On Tuesday, a 63-year-old bicyclist was hit near Rogers and Hoehn Roads. He is currently in the hospital following the amputation of one of his legs.
The case remains under investigation.
