Police Investigate McAllen Auto Ped Accident

It happened around 9 p.m. near Ware Road and Jordan Avenue. Authorities say the driver of a Volkswagen apparently did not see the woman and hit her with her car.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition. The driver rendered aid to the pedestrian, it’s still unknown if she will face any charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
