Harlingen Man Faces Triple Murder Charges

Omar Montemayor, 34 years old, stands accused of murdering his estranged wife, her unborn son and a man inside her house.
The incident occurred September 29th.
The victims were identified as Sarah Maxwell, 29 years old, and Devan Leroy Hanes, 28 years old.
Investigators told news outlets that the woman was between 5 and 8 weeks pregnant when she was murdered prompting police to file the additional murder charge.
At the time of the crime, Montemayor allegedly turned the gun on himself inflicting a gunshot wound to his head.
After spending weeks at the hospital he recovered enough to face charges and a $6 million bond.
