BP Pursuit Turns into Sugar Cane Fire in Progreso

It happened at around 7 p.m. on Old 1015, close to close to Dorothy Thompson Middle School. We’re told Border Patrol Agents were in a chase, when the car they were pursuing crashed into the field, catching on fire.
There are reports that the pursuit involved undocumented immigrants that are still at large. Authorities weren’t available to comment on the matter.
