Donna School District Employee Run Over

Officials are saying it was simply an unfortunate accident.
It happened at around 7 a.m. The woman was crossing the street to the Donna-ISD headquarters, when another employee of the district apparently didn’t see her, hitting her with the front of his car.
We’re told the victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and is expected to be okay. The alleged driver remained at the scene, cooperating with authorities. And isn’t expected to face any charges.
