UTPA Receives $1.1 million in Scholarships

UTPA received more than $1.1-million in grants from the federal government to help students enrolled in health professions and nursing programs to pay for school.
The scholarships are available to students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and are enrolled full time.
The grants will pay full tuition, fees and some living expenses. And will be given over the next 4 years.
