After almost two months since their house almost completely burned down a Pharr family still needs help.

The only thing 10-year-old Danny wishes for is to have his whole family living together under one roof again. Along with his two other siblings, he is currently living with a family friend after a fire destroyed most of their home back in August.

Now almost two months later, their home isn’t looking much better than when the fire happened. Plywood walls stand bare with support beams throughout the house and pieces of burnt wood form part of the ceiling. There is still a lot of work to be done.

Organizations like ARCH, The Advocacy Resource Center for Housing, help those that like the Lopez Family who have lost their housing due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Lopez Family is also asking the Rio Grande Valley community for your help. So that their family can once again be together in their home.

If you would like to donate to the Lopez Family you can do so to the bank account at First National Bank # 122244184 under the name of Johanna Lopez, your donation will go towards the purchase of materials to help them rebuild their home. You can help bring this family back together.
