Arrest in Fatal Illegal Immigrant Rollover

The rollover happened Monday night on the 100 block of Ruben Torres Boulevard in Brownsville. Authorities say the vehicle was trafficking illegal immigrants, when it rolled over. Two teens, one just 13 years old, were killed. The driver and another passenger, believed to be a Honduran National, fled the scene.
Authorities say they have the driver in custody. The suspect’s identity is being withheld pending formal charges, but sources say charges will include vehicular manslaughter, as well as human trafficking.
