Five people in Edinburg are under arrest following a drive-by shooting this past weekend.
Authorities say of the group opened fire at another vehicle near Sprague and 2nd Streets at around 2 a.m. on Saturday and fled the scene. The victim was not injured.
This afternoon, one of the suspects, Raul Cantu, faced a judge. He was charged with aggravated assault and issued a $50,000 bond.
Marcos Lozano, 20 years old, was arraigned on the same charges this past weekend, and the third adult suspect is awaiting his day in court.
Of the five accused in the drive-by, two are minors and were transferred to the Edinburg Youth Detention Center.
A motive for the shooting is unknown. The case remains under investigation.
