Man Arrested for Online Sexual Solicitation

Harlingen police arrested a man for allegedly soliciting a 12-year-old girl via Facebook after a concerned adult made the call.

According to the police, Alfredo Hernandez, 29 years old, going under alias “Freddy Love”, reached out to the girl, asking her to sneak out of the house and that he would pick her up, mentioning sexual contact.

The 12-year-old notified an adult, who then reported it to authorities. Officers met Hernandez at the planned location, placing him under arrest. He was issued a $50,000 bond.
