Man Arrested for Evading Arrest and High-Speed Chase

According to Weslaco Police, officers attempted to pull over Daniel Lee Garza, 24 years old, on Expressway 83 at around 1 a.m., when the chase began.
They say the pursuit spanned several cities, ending when Garza lost control of his vehicle and crashed, near the Jackson Road exit in Pharr. He was arrested at the scene.
Garza was charged this afternoon for evading arrest with a vehicle and issued a $20,000 bond.
