Woman’s Body Found in SPI

Cameron County Sheriff Department Deputies are investigating the case.
Sheriff Omar Lucio says the body was discovered 5 miles north of Beach Access 6 this afternoon.
According to the department, a passerby saw wild animals eating something in the sand. The woman had been buried there for about a week.
She was wearing green shorts and a purple t-shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
