Man Shot in Mexico Released from McAllen Hospital

Pharr Police Chief Ruben Villescas spoke with FOX 2, saying that 38-year-old José Luis Ruiz was released last night from McAllen Medical Center.
On Saturday, he was driving in Reynosa, when he was shot by armed men in another vehicle. He managed to flee, and drove to the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge, where he was transported to the hospital for a grazed bullet wound to the head.
Authorities say the case is in the hands of Mexican authorities.
