Mexico: 11 Bodies Remain Unidentified After Blast

Of the 30 workers killed, 11 have not been identified.
The explosion at the Pemex natural gas processing facility on September 18th. Some of the workers killed or injured in the fire were employees of Pemex, while several others worked for outside contractors.
Twelve of the at least 47 injured remain hospitalized. The bodies that have been identified have been returned to the victims’ families.
Pemex officials said they will provide the required compensation to their employees and ask the contractors to do the same. An investigation continues to try to determine the cause of the blast.
