“Failure to Appear” Amnesty Program in McAllen

The McAllen Municipal Court is offering an amnesty program for defendants that failed to appear in court.

The pardon will run from October 1st through November 30th. During that time, failure to appear charges will be waived for anyone who comes in voluntarily to make arrangements to pay their tickets.

The amnesty does not apply to defendants who have already entered a plea on “failure to appear” charges. Anyone with information can call (956) 681-2900.
