11 Illegal Immigrants Arrested After Pursuit

A traffic violation that resulted in a high-speed chase. And ended with people in handcuffs. Donna police requested assistance from US Border Patrol around midnight at the scene by Victoria and Midway.
Border Patrol Supervisor Daniel Tirado says eleven people were detained and an unknown amount of others fled the area.
No injuries were reported and these individuals are from different countries.
Border agents want to remind the public of the dangers a person runs when illegally pursuing the American Dream. Agent Tirado says the smugglers cram them into vehicles and do not value the human life.
Authorities are on the lookout for the driver. The detained individuals are being processed for deportation and the case remains under investigation.
