Thieves Arrested After High-Speed Chase

In San Benito, two robbery suspects are behind bars, after leading police on a high-speed pursuit with a baby.

An anonymous tip led authorities to the 600 block of Forest Street where a burglary was taking place. Authorities arrested Norberto Trevino Partida, as well as his girlfriend, Betzy Buenrostro Sanchez. A third suspect is still at large.

At the time of the arrest, the suspects were carrying a baby, less than 10 months old. They are also accused of killing a puppy during the theft.

Both suspects are behind bars, and face a slew of charges, including theft, endangering a child, and animal cruelty. Anyone with information on the third suspects is asked to call crime stoppers at 956-361-3884.
