Man Found Guilty in Cousin’s Murder

Rogelio Maldonado Jr. was convicted today of shooting Luis Manuel Gonzalez in June of 2011. The Hidalgo County Assistant District Attorney said Maldonado pulled out a gun after losing a fist fight with Gonzalez. He says the entire incident stemmed from a family dispute.
Maldonado will be sentenced at a later date.
