Harlingen Man Arrested For Attempted Rape

Authorities say the 19-year-old victim and a witness said Gonzalez forced his way into her home on the 100-block of west Darrel Wayne Shipp street at around 2:30 a.m. On Monday. He fled the scene after the witness confronted him.
Gonzalez was arrested a short time later. He is currently behind bars on a 700-thousand dollar bond.
