Palmview Store Robbed Twice in Two Weeks
This article was published 8 months 20 days ago which may make its actuality or accuracy no longer valid. Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding.A Stripes convenience store on the corner of Expressway 83 and FM 492 was robbed twice this month. And it might be the same suspect.
Palmview Police received reports of a burglary around 4am Thursday morning of what appeared to be an elderly woman pulling a knife on the cashier.
Arnold Ochoa, Palmview Police Spokesperson, said the individual used a knife and left with money and cigarettes.
Upon further investigation of surveillance video, authorities clearly saw it was a man dressed as an older woman who might be the same thief from the robbery earlier this month.
It was around 3 am August 18th when the burglar entered the same Stripes store in Palmview, demanded money from both cash registers and left on foot.
“We are still looking for the suspect, between 5’5” to 5’9” tall and weighs about 200 pounds,” said Arnold Ochoa, Palmview Police Spokesperson.
No one was injured in either incident but the suspect is considered highly dangerous.
If you have any information on either case, you are asked to contact the Palmview Crime Stoppers Hotline at 956-584-8477.
