Cameron County Beaches Closed Due to Hurricane Isaac

As of 8 p.m. tonight, Cameron County issued a temporary closure of Beach Accesses no. 4, 5 and 6, as well as Isla Blanca Park and Boca Chica Ceach, due to high tides and dangerous conditions.
Officials urge beach goers to refrain from entering gulf waters due to rip currents generated from Isaac. The closure will take place until further notice.
