Labor Day Weekend is a few days away. And authorities want to make sure that if you decide to celebrate, you do so safely and sober.

Law enforcement in the Rio Grande Valley, along with the Texas Department of Transportation, will be out in extra-full force.

Officers have been on overtime status looking for drivers that are drinking and driving.

Like Corporal Manny Casas, Mission Police Department, says if you plan to drink make sure you have a designated driver.
