This time around the home owner reacted when he saw the intruder, by shooting his twice.
This was the scene Wednesday night while investigators from the Pharr Police Department gathered evidence after a home invasion that ended in gunfire, when the homeowners confronted the allegedly thief.
The suspect identified as 55-year-old Jaime Rendon, was inside a small room attached to the home, he had already taken out some of the family’s belongings and set them aside.
Aaron Ayala, who was visiting his son, says he heard the gunshots.
Something that was not a surprise to some neighbors who were quick to react toward the scenario in their neighborhood.
This case will be transferred to the D.A.’s Office who will determine if there was a reasonable believe that the homeowner or somebody was in danger. The suspect will face charges when he is released from the hospital.
