Starting Sunday McAllen Police, along with the Texas Department of Transportation, are launching it’s S.T.E.P. Campaign, the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program.
Officers will be on overtime status looking for drivers that are drinking and driving. This campaign will last until September 5th. So like always, if you plan to drink make sure you have a designated driver.
