2 Hospitalized in Brownsville Bar Shooting

Authorities were called to the toucan lounge on the 800 block of North Expressway 77 at around 2 a.m. A male and female had gunshot wounds to their torsos. Investigators say the male is believed to have gotten into an altercation with another man.
The alleged gunman went to the police station, claiming he was the victim of an assault, and reacted in self-defense. Both victims are in stable condition. No arrests have been made, pending further investigation.
