The EEHS School District is making some changes, with the goal to improve the test scores of its students.
Students at Edcouch-Elsa High School taking classes this coming year, will take part in the “No Child Left Behind” program. The school hasn’t met state requirements in English proficiency and Math scores.
Under the new program, 80% of EEHS students must the meet federal standards. Local reports say the school hasn’t met the requirement for six years in a row.
