Back-to-school shoppers will have some extra cash in their wallet. The Annual tax-free weekend kicks off this weekend.

The Texas Comptroller’s Office is offering the break from Friday, August 17th until Sunday. Clothes, shoes and school backpacks are tax-exempt, as long as they are under $100 each. This doesn’t include items, such as accessories, luggage and specialty clothing.
