McAllen Annexes over 500 Acres Used for Development

The city has annexed 514 acres, to build homes and businesses between Ware Road and Conway Avenue. The north side will remains under Hidalgo County’s jurisdiction.
Landowners and business owners will now be under the city’s tax requirements, as well as receiving services from McAllen, such as law enforcement.
