Crews Search for Possible Drowning Victim in Hidalgo

Authorities are searching for a possible drowning victim reported in Hidalgo.

A witness at the scene called our newsroom at around 7:30 this evening. The victim is believed to be a 16 to 17-year-old male.

City and county authorities, along with the scuba team, have been on 10th Street and Dicker searching for the victim. They believe the body may have traveled through the canal system.
