This article was published 9 months 22 days ago which may make its actuality or accuracy no longer valid. Foxrio2.com is not responsible for any misunderstanding. Most of us do not need to follow an Olympic Athlete’s Diet but nutritional advice doesn’t hurt, especially for kids.
Many parents know it can take Olympic-level determination to get their kids to eat right.
Olympic Gold Medalist Dominique Dawes discusses how parents get be a positive influence on their children’s eating habits.
“Your kids are not going to want to eat foods that they do not enjoy. I think we all went through that period of oh try the broccoli and the kids don’t like it and they despise trying broccoli again,” said Dominique Dawes, Olympic Gold Medalist and FOX Sports Contributor.
Dawes also said, “I tell parents that they are role models and they their kids are looking at them so make sure that they are picking good foods and nutritious foods and their kids are watching them eat these foods so they are going to model their behavior after their parents.”
