Man Charged for Allegedly Attacking a Family with Homemade Explosives in Edcouch, TX

One of the victims inside the home was pregnant.
FOX 2 Reporter Victoria Acosta-Rubio has the latest.
Police say it was a targeted attack, it could be gang related but for now, they are looking for the man, who threw bombs at a home.
While an Edcouch family slept, their home was attacked. Now police are looking for the suspect, 20-year-old Aaron Reyes, who’s wanted for attempted capital murder.
According to Edcouch Police Chief Eloy Cardenas, Reyes threw two molotov cocktail bombs at the home located on Lopez Street.
Three children and two adults were inside. Including a pregnant woman who was hospitalized after a panic attack.
Andrea Garcia, lives next door, she says that for the safety of her loved ones, she prefers to keep to herself.
“It was dangerous to be so close, but I try to stay home, I don’t even know the neighbor’s name,” said Andrea Garcia, Neighbor.
Authorities say, Reyes is a “Los Chicanos” Gang Member, and counts with an extensive criminal background. If you have any information you are asked to call Edcouch Police at 956-262-3004.
