Motorcyclist Injured in McAllen Collision

It happened near 2nd Street and Expressway 83 at around 4:30 p.m. Authorities say the driver of the white Dodge Ram accidentally rear-ended the motorcycle, causing the man in his 70′s to fly off and land on the pavement.
“The motorcycle driver was transported to the hospital,” said Officer Sampaio, Acting Sergeant of McAllen Police Department.
“We were driving in the same direction, but there was water so he kind of slowed down and when I wanted to break, I couldn’t avoid it,” said the Pickup Truck Driver.
Investigators still have to determine who is at fault. The accident is under investigation.
