Fire in San Benito Apartment Complex

The San Benito Fire Department responded to a fire earlier today.

The incident occurred at an apartment complex on the 1100 block of South McCoullough Street. Witnesses say an explosion was heard before the fire managed to expand throughout one of the units. Fox 2 News has learned that two maintenance workers were transported to the hospital. We are told that the victims suffered second and third degree burns. The investigation is ongoing.
