New Details Regarding the Shooting of an ICE Agent in Hargill

Agent Harrison, was conducting a surveillance investigation in connection to an ongoing criminal investigation on Hwy 493 and Cementary Rd., when he was shot then a chase ensued ending on Hwy 493 and 186.
The FBI, led this investigation but they received assistance from ICE, the Hidalgo Sheriff’s Department and the Department of Public Safety.
Investigators combed both crime scenes to recover the casings that were fired yesterday.
Agent Kelton Harrison, had been with the ICE Homeland Security Investigations Unit since 2010.
He underwent surgery at the McAllen Medical Center where he is now in stable condition recovering from his wounds.
There are no other details in this investigation as of now but we will be following it closely to bring you the latest updates.
