Mother and baby were traveling southbound on Rooth Rd., N. of FM 1925.
The Nissan-Sentra lost control and the vehicle went into a canal.
Before the vehicle submerged under water, the mother jumped to the back seat and unhooked the baby from child safety seat, saving the baby boy from drowning.
Both mom and baby are okay.
