State Representative Armando “Mando” Martinez Indicted

District Attorney René Guerra confirmed that the Weslaco Legislator allegedly interfered with his wife’s right to see their child. This is not the first time their domestic differences make headlines, in the midst of a marital disintegration in 2006, his wife, Jessica Reyes, tried to run against her husband for the political post he now holds. Her application was allegedly denied because she failed to fill in her full address.
Martinez serves the 39th District of Texas that encompasses the east portion of Hidalgo County.
