City of Weslaco Redistricting

The new district map for the city’s nearly 36,000 voters was approved on Tuesday. The initiative began last fall with the goal to account for shifts in growth and distribution, and to evenly distribute voters among the six regions in the city- ranging from a district population of around 57-hundred to 61-hundred.
