Traffic Violation Turns to Ecstasy and Cocaine Bust

A Brownsville man is under arrest, after authorities say he was in possession of over 160 ecstasy pills, as well as nearly 12-grams of cocaine. Officers pulled over 20-year-old Damian de Los Reyes for a traffic violation on the 5200 block of Padre Island, when ecstasy pills were found. Police then investigated his home, which netted the additional narcotics. Reyes was booked for two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
