Brownsville PD say 27-year-old Julio Faustino Gonzalez was initially stopped for speeding on the 2400 block of Southmost Road, when the pursuit began. Gonzalez, along with a passenger, jumped out of the vehicle while it was in motion.
The vehicle crashed into parked vehicles and a home on East 17th Street. A woman sleeping inside the residence received minor injuries.
