The San Juan Police Department began an investigation stemming from a burglary of habitation.
Cops discovered that Barbara Rosales Chavez had pawned some items taken from the burglary. Chavez was arrested at 1422 South State Street.
After a search of the residence, authorities also discovered 10 ounces of marijuana.
Chavez’s son, Fernando Rosales claimed ownership of the drugs and was consequently arrested.
Rosales is a confirmed member of a local valley gang and has an extensive criminal history.
The investigation is ongoing.
